Smile and scoop up your last Goose turd.

Goose, Duck and Turkey habitat can be greatly reduced with Liquid Fence’s ingenius product. In a nutshell, the way that Goose Repellent works is that it makes the food supply ( where you apply it) very undesirable to geese, turkeys and ducks. They hate it! In essense, this safely contaminates the geese and duck food source.

Take away the food source and those ducks and geese will migrate right out of the area to find food somewhere else. And you will be left with a doo doo free backyard, pond or lawn.

Although we love animals and birds here at BackyardStyle – we are also aware of the damage that geese and duck can do to your home and yard. They can damage grass and other vegetation, pollute ponds, and spread disease. Geese can actually endanger both children and adults with aggressive, nasty behavior.

I am a runner and have found that my worst foe is a nasty geese family that
lives near the Golf Course that I run around. These geese will actually chase me
while I am running! Although I am grateful for the additional cardivascular
workout as I sprint away from them – I am worred that someday .. one of those
suckers will take a chunk out of my leg!

Geese generally nest on shorelines, ponds, islands, man-made structures, golf courses and even in pools. If an area provides a water source, cover for a the geese nest and a good place for the bird to have a lookout, it is likely a goose will build its home there.

Geese are also attracted to lawns with short, mowed grass.

If the geese are migrating to your home – Liquid Fence Geese Repellent will do the job!

Birds are attracted to a variety of plants and food in the backyard. However, they seem to be especially into fruit! If you have any fruit trees or patches in your backyard, you can bet that birds will be frequenting your backyard. Birds are very smart creatures, and know when fruit is at its peak. That is when they attack your fruit plants!

To prevent this from happening, you will need netting to cover your trees and patches. The key is cover the plants after their flowering stage is over. This way, you will not prevent pollination from happening. If you have a fruit tree, you will need to apply netting specifically made for trees. A great brand and product is Ross Tree Netting. The net holes are in a large diamond shape, which will protect your plants from birds while still allowing in air, sunshine, and water. Simply draping the Ross Tree Netting over a tree is a perfect solution to preventing birds from eating your fruit.

A problem can occur when a tree is very tall. It can be difficult getting tree netting over an entire tall tree! If this is the case, you should at least wrap the lower half of the tree. This way, birds will only be able to eat the fruit at the top of the tree, which is the hardest for you to harvest anyway.

If you are growing your fruit in a low to the ground patch (such as berry patches), you will need to put a little more energy into protecting your plants from birds. What I like to do is build a wooden border around the patch, and then drape netting over the wooden border. For a task like this, I use Ross Garden Netting, pictured above. The holes in the Ross Garden Netting have a diamond shape, so you will have no problem regularly watering your fruit patches. Similarly with the Ross Tree Netting mentioned above, you can easily cut this netting with scissors to make it into your desired shape. When you are ready to harvest your fruit, all you need to do is lift up the netting.

The fantastic annual migrations that these geese make between their breeding and wintering grounds is one of the wonders of our natural world. Most of the world’s 29 or so species of geese are no strangers to migration.

Unfortunately, they are stopping at lakes, ponds, and properties all over the country. These pests can become very aggressive, chasing pets and biting small children.

They can also be carriers of disease and are highly destructive. And then there’s the disgusting mess they leave behind. You can end these problems by using Liquid Fence Goose Repellent. This guaranteed effective repellent makes their food sources unsavory, but is perfectly safe to use around your plants and family.

On the more informative end of things, geese fly at speeds of thirty to sixty miles per hour and travel in flocks of varying sizes. The sizes of the flocks vary due to the size, race and region of the geese. Smaller geese tend to fly in larger flocks and vice versa. The flocks range in sizes from 23 geese to 300 geese.
