Prevent Yellow Jacket Stings at the Party in Your Yard

Share |

If you plan on having a graduation party, birthday party or a wedding outdoors this summer, don’t forget to provide your guests protection from yellow jacket attacks. Your guests will be very grateful if they don’t have to fight or run from yellow jackets at your party. Yellow jackets can be terribly annoying and frightful when they are attracted to the food or guests at your party. They can attack repeatedly and their sting is very painful.

If you can’t or don’t want to bring the party inside, it is a good idea to be proactive with yellow jacket prevention. In order to keep yellow jackets away from your guests and food, it is a great idea to set up yellow jacket traps to keep them at bay. Place these traps all around your yard to help attract and kill them. It is a good idea to place the traps in areas that are not too close to people and food in a tree or on a post.

One highly effective and convenient-to-use trap is the Rescue Yellow Jacket Trap. This trap already contains bait for attracting yellow jackets, so there is no mess. The attractant lasts for weeks and the trap are easy to set up in your yard. Just hang the ready-to-use traps up around your yard to control all types of yellow jackets. Yellow jackets will get trapped in the bag and die.

Another yellow jacket trap that you may want to consider is the Deluxe Yellow Jacket Trap. This trap should be hung up at least six feet above the ground in an area away from people and food. A special feature of this refillable trap is that it does not use any pesticide to trap yellow jackets. Just place food or a sweet liquid inside the trap for an attractant and yellow jackets will be attracted to the bait and get trapped inside. Use this trap year after year for great protection against yellow jackets.

Having fun outdoors should not involve the fear of getting stung by a yellow jacket. Taking proactive measures and using a trap can be very effective for preventing scary attacks and painful stings. Check out these products and more at Backyard Style.
