The reason that I am not “going there” is that I do not believe there is more doom and gloom on the way. Sure, there may be a few more pitfalls for all of us, but I think that the US economy is looking up and here is why:

A domino effect has occurred. Manufacturers have cut costs, unions have agreed to concessions, retailers (like us) are slashing prices and profits and the economy is moving. It is moving more than anyone predicted. Everyone is pitching in and doing thier part to help jumpstart the economy.

And the word is spreading. The more the word is spreads and the more that people still keep buying (and getting great values at that) , the faster we will move out of the slump.

I am not an eonomist, but I am aware of what a positive attitude can do. Myself and the staff at Backyard Style are positive. Sales were great at BackyardStyle this past year, we have seen our distributers and manufacturers cut costs and reduce profits to help us lower the prices for you.

Thus we are excited about the latest “End of the year Inventory Sale” that we are able to offer our dedicated customers and new visitors. Items like the Ant Killer above are priced the lowest this year. Total Pest Control by Bonide is on sale this month also.

We are also looking at a few fantastic changes at our store that will expand our offerings and help you find the absolute best products available. In 2009 we will be adding a social network to the website, adding 5,000 new product and offering you the ability to rate products and share experiences with other garden lovers, pond lovers and wild bird enthusiasts.
