We are improving the user experience at our online shop and it’s time to let everyone know!
Over the last few months, we have worked with a number of online marketing and usability specialists to find out how we can make YOU, the customer happier and enjoy the online shopping experience more.
Here are a few updates:
- BackyardStyle.com now has the ability to “narrow by brand and keyword” once the visitor clicks on the category that they are interested in.
- Previews of products are displayed on mouseovers in search results and new products (see example to the right of a few Hagen Pond products.
- Detail pages are now available for sub-products (inside product families). See the Bogs Clog Size 8 as an example.
- Mouseovers are available to see closeups of sub-products without clicking to pull up another screen. See our Easy Change Welcome Mats for an example.
- Bookmarking is a SNAP with our new bookmarking tool. See the Earthtone organic insect control example to the right.
- And finally, checkout our new streamlined checkout process with both standard and google checkout uptions.
