Although most people would agree that we are not in the full-blown holiday season yet, all of us probably agree that we have entered the prep-period.
The prep-period of the holidays is when you check everything and make sure that it is ready to go the day after Thanksgiving (or whenever you personally deem that the holidays should begin). Over here (Detroit area), there is a radio station that starts Christmas and holiday music on November 1st. (a bit too early in my book . .but it helps when I have to write holiday articles like this one!)
Here is a quick checklist to make sure you are ready and roarin’ to go this holiday season.
- Check the Christmas Tree Stand and make sure that last year’s stand is still functional. If not .. order one that is the “no-fall” version. It may not be the difference this year, but may save you sometime from a big fall in the future.
- Make sure that you have enough Postage Stamps this year! These stamps and the one pictured to the right are a bit more expensive, but they help the ASPCA. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
- Get your shopping lists in order.
